Silver King..

I have two boats that I use for guiding purposes. The first one is a 1999 Silver King. It is powered by a 90 hp. Mercury outboard. It is reasonably fast, very stable and floats in shallower water than most conventional flats skiffs. This boat carries live bait very well, if that type of tarpon or snook fishing is your goal. It also works great, fishing the ocean flats in rough weather conditions when fly fishing for Tarpon or any thing else.

Hells Bay Boatworks..

My other boat is a Hell’s Bay, Whipray. This boat has become the standard by which all other flats type boats are judged. It’s a 16 footer, constructed out of carbon fiber and other space age materials. The result is an extremely light, shallow and easy to push boat, that makes no noises that fish find offensive. It really enables me to get you much closer to fish, without spooking them. Because it is so light I can push it all day with very little effort. Of course that means it’s more likely to get you quality shots that can be so critical in having a successful day
